Finnpatent Oy
Finnpatent Oy is a patent agency of two experienced patent attorneys. The predecessor of Finnpatent Oy is Finnish Patent Engineer Service Oy, founded in 2012. The Finnpatent Oy attorneys are authorized Finnish patent attorneys and European patent attorneys with a solid track record in handling IPR affairs of companies of all sizes and at different stages of development, as well as those of private inventors.
We understand the clint’s viewpoint
Before embarking on their present IPR careers, our attorneys worked in R&D departments of international companies on telecommunication, electrical engineering, medical technology, and chemistry. They also have considerable experience in academic research and teaching in universities.
Personal representation in Europe
The Finnpatent Oy patent attorneys represent their clients in person before the Finnish Patent and Registration Office (PRH) and the European Patent Office (EPO) as well as before the Finnish Market Court in appeals and other transactions which concern patents and utility models and are governed by the Administrative Procedure Act.
Comprehensive collaboration network
We collaborate with law firms of proven competence in technical patent litigations. Third-country assignments (e.g. in the USA, China, and Japan) are carried out in co-operation with our global patent attorney contacts.
